14aj is in it again...

Wayne Johnson locked in the A-main after missing several weeks is nice to see.

Even tho most of the fans did not like it...I enjoyed Kaley Gharst giving the wheel nudge to Joey in their heat when he tried to squeeze him to the bottom on the last lap.  Of course if Joey had a working front wing it would have been different, but nice to see Kaley not give an inch.

We like Wayne Johnson in our neck of the woods.  Former Short Track Nationals champion in the Cooper Racing #01.

Sorry to get off topic, but GladBrad (or anyone else) could you give me some insight on the Short Track Nationals? Tix prices? Reserved or General Admission? Time races start? Where to sit? Hotels? Race quality?  Anything else you would like to add.

Thanks

Tickets are all General Admission and are $12, $12 and $25.

The racers stay at the La Quinta Inn of Otter Creek.  There are several hotels 10 minutes South of the track in Bryant (Holiday Inn) and Benton (Days Inn, Best Western, Ramada).

Races start at 7:30.

We sit near Turn 1 up top.

90+ sprinters racing three nights in a row.  There are no support classes that run those three nights.  The racing is superior.

My bad.  Paulie McMahan and Tim Montgomery have driven the Cooper #01 to the winner's circle of the STN.
