By the way, some on the list may only be ARCA regulars from local teams not Developmental driver's.
I included all driver's who drove a Dodge or Dodge team in ARCA for 2006 so no one would be missed.

I will only comment on two of them.

Steven Wallace has the talent to go to NEXTEL Cup, in a few years. Erin Crocker, got her ride wth some talent, but is now able to keep her ride by banging the boss. Face it, if she was a guy, she would have already lost her ride

Dodgeboy.. Chase Miller is for real.  He has an unbelievable ability to race and get through traffic. He has produced remarkable results with average resources. I dont think he has ever had a test session in any of the ARCA cars he has raced.  He won this year at Pocono the first time he was there and dominated the second Pocono race until the motor lost a cylinder with only a few laps to go.  At Gateway there were 6 or 7 Cup development team entries there including the high dollar RWI team and Chase Miller sat on the pole, almost breaking the track record. Unfortunately the car he was driving had a bad radiator and brake calaper was bad at the start of the race. Unlike most of the development teams, the Cunningham Team is a true ARCA team competing with ARCA equipment and a ARCA budget.  Did you notice his Craftsman Truck debut at NH last weekend?  Chase Miller had never taken a lap in a truck before the first practice session at NH. In the 2-1/2 hours of practice he ended up 5th quickest. He started 27th and raced his way to 14th by lap 72 and then sustained alot of damage to the right front when the #77 hit the wall and slid down the track.  He went a lap down, fought back and got back to 15th with 30 laps to go and finished 17th. I might add that if you look at the 2005-2006 rookies truck debut results you will find that 17th is outstanding.  13th is the best and most are in the 20's and 30's. He has only been in the race car 6 times total in 2006. That includes practice days.  Imagine how tough he will be when he gets to race every week.

Yes, Dodge has had their eye on Chase Miller for some time now. He may be the next real deal since Kasey Kahne or Reed Sorenson.

I still feel bad for Ryan Hemphill, Ganassi gave him a total shaft and set him up for failure after a great season in ARCA.

I'm glad you made that addendum as few of those on your original list are "dodge development" drivers.

But as to the real "Dodge development" drivers? What's not to like? The three main teams, Sharp, Cunningham, Jones, (can't remember of hand if Hagans is "officially Dodge supported), are very well run and do a great job of  dealing with a different driver every race. Swindell is hard to say anything about as he has not yet had the opportunity to drive a superspeedway yet. He also has a tendency to block on short tracks which has cost him finishing positions this season. he is obviously very talented however and appears to be making the transition to pavement in stride.

ARCA is a great place for folks to watch the future of Cup develop. Although some fans only want to watch a race that has the established prepackaged names, others of us like to watch them "grow up" as it were. The entire rookie class of ARCA this year, not just the Dodge drivers, has just been phenomenal.

The ONLY team that is an official Dodge Development progam, with Dodge support is Cunningham Motorsports.

So the rest of them need to give the money back or are YOU full of ***? I cover ARCA, I talk to the drivers, team owners and what not. What the hell do YOU do that gives you such inside (and actually bullshit) knowledge? So I should call Eddie Sharp a liar next time I see him? Tell him to just go to hell?

Just damn. What a moron you are..............

Eddie Sharp is only the general manager for Cunningham.  YOU OBVIOUSLY have not idea what you are talking about.  And you can tell who ever you want that they are full of it.. But check the facts first

Uh huh. Yeah he is. No *** Sherlock. He also has his own cars that he runs. What the hell is YOUR point, I mean other than that one on your head? As for checking facts? Are YOU calling Eddie a liar? I would hesitate to do so face to face to him but then obviously you wouldn't. Tell you what brainiac, let's go to his hauler at Dega and I'll WATCH you call him a liar. Or how about Iowa? Your choice. It will be fun.

Scratch Cale Gale off the Dodge developmental driver list! Cale signs with Kevin Harvick Inc. to drive Kevin's #33 Busch car in 2007. Dodge lets another great driver slip through their hands AGAIN!

Wow, I missed that one. Thanks for the info. It's a shame though. Harvick didn't exactly "nuture" Burney Lamar. Hopefully he will be more patient with Gale. But as far as Dodge "losing" another driver, where is there a place for him? WIth half the Busch field being Cup regulars there just aren't that nmany seats open for young drivers. And how many Cup teams will leave Dodge and go to Toyota? Wouldn't surprise me to see Penske bolt.
