Jon “Catman” Mitchell Heading to the Mississippi Delta for AMP Sanctioned Event

Texarkana TX-- (July 14, 2008) Jon Mitchell will pilot the Black, Red & White #5 GRT by Catman this weekend in Greenville, Mississippi.

The Mitchell Motorsports team will travel to Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS, where the team will unload and set out to battle with the local teams and the supr teams for a 50- lap event and $2500.00 to win payday.
Each weekend the team looks forward to competing with the series and the drivers who frequent the fields on race nights.

Mitchell raced his Late Model last Saturday in the Southern part of Arkansas where he racked up a fourth place finish in the feature event as well as finding victory lane in his modified.

Jon is the 2007 AMP Series Point Champion and currently sits in first place in the series point chase with 360 points
