Glad to see you guys got this race in. But the sad thing is the car count. I remember going to the Eagle Nationals and having a full B-main.  Even your own favorites like Droud wasn't there. I'm sure he was running at Knoxville. This race use to run against Knoxville. But maybe they need to try to get this move to Friday to get some Knoxville cars there.

'Ya get what 'ya get and work with it.

Eagle, Nebraska isn't a hot-bed of 410 sprinters to be sure. And, as dilligaf said, going against Knoville doesn't help the car count by any means.

I personally thought it was a great night!! But heck, any night at the races is wonderful as far as I'm concerned. Got to see and talk with friends I only see once a year.

Pleasantly surprised to see Sammy and TK tow through the gates. Sammy has to be happy with his new track record, but I'd bet that he'd be happier with a win rather than a second.

Danny was all smiles, having that twinkle in his eye that most fans know well. But, then again, Danny's always been fun to talk to in my opinion. Got a couple of minutes with Donny before the races, and we talked about how we'd love to see the WoO there more than once a year. I told him that I always said that when I win the Powerball we'll have a second show.

Took the time after the races to thank all of the visitors, including several that raced with the 360's.

Got word this morning that the 360 driver that was life flighted to the hospital has already been released. He has a concussion, but no big problems other than that as of now.

I'm not sure if there was a full moon behind all of those clouds that the weather guessers said we weren't going to have, and it sure as heck wasn't 80 something during the day. We even got drizzle (pretty hard at times) throughout the show. A couple of inches of rain the night before led to extra track prep and running in, setting the start of the show back over 1/2 hour.

Just one of those nights that promoters and fans dread.

I can't wait for next year!!!!!!

Thanks for the inside skewp on the Eagle Nats.  Its been many years  (10) since I was there, but you have something to be proud of.  The Eagle fans always get their money's worth.

Say Eagle...sounds like you had a great time and we all are jealous ok/

So why is it that Knoxville continues to run a conflicting show down there?

Think it will ever get changed?

I ALWAYS have fun at the races, and especially when the WoO is in town. Some folks call them the travelling circus; well, guess what?? I LOVE the circus!!!!

You run the date that the WoO gives 'ya. It's been Friday at Huset's and Saturday at Eagle for a few years now, what'cha gonna do??

I'm going to have a long chat with the promoters to see about next year, AFTER they see if they made any $$ on this year's show.

You've got to hand it to Lasoski, & Co.  They're getting way more out of that car than we've seen before.

The "word on the street" was that the 6 car stepped up their motor program as part of the Dude deal!

Who is the crew chief on the #6 car? Sprint Car teams are no different then Nascar teams. That right combination and chemistry is so important . I think Danny was at his best when he and Folbrook was together. And early on when him and Jimmy Carr was together. But a good motor program don't hurt. Knoxville could get real interesting this year. Wish I could make it. My early prediction will be Saldana followed by my wish list of Jason Meyer. Jason is a class act.
