V10 sports sedans: BMW no longer the only game in

I'm pretty impressed with the new Audi V10 S6, they skipped one step ahead of BMW and have offered the first V10 avant.
0-62mph in 5.2 isn't bad for a grocery fetcher! I'm suprised they are offering it with Tiptronic instead of their DSG.

Simply putting aV10 in a fancy volkwagen does not make it ahead of a BMW. Have they got a v12?

Re: 12 cylinder Audis, a dry-sump W12 is offered in the A8L 6.0. Their only V12, as far as I know, is the diesel V12 from their 24 Heures du Mans winning R10 that also won at Sebring this year. I believe that a diesel V12 based on this engine will be available in either an A8 or one of their S cars soon.
