Haditha Marine sues Murtha for libel

According to the article Murtha's lawyer says he made his slanderous comments "after being briefed by Defense Department officials who "deliberately provided him with inaccurate and false information."

It's always someone else's fault. Unfortunately for Mr. Murtha......he made sure to get in front of the mike and cameras when he shot off his mouth. Sure would like to know who misled him. Which Defense Department officals?

 So......if Sergeant Wuterich had not filed his lawsuit.....when exactly was Mr. Murtha going to issue a retraction of his statements? When was he going to make public the fact that according to him the Defense Department lied to him? That he was innocently duped? Hmmm?

Was he going to go on Meet the Press and tell Tim how the Defense Department tricked him?

I've also noticed that the Haditha "incident" has dropped off of the map. Why is that? I can live with punitive action if our troops violated the laws that govern warfare.

How many of the lefties amongst us will be able to live with an investigation that determines those Marines were innocent OR that those people were killed by terrorists trying to stage a propaganda coup.

Kinda like Qana and the photo-op staged by the terrorists who more than likely herded those people into that building after it was hit with a missile and then finished the job the Israeli missile started.

Why did it take almost 8 hours for the building to collapse? If true, as witnesses are stating will you highbank or any of the other leftists admit that the terrorists were duping our media because they are trying to win this conflict with propaganda?

Will you then admit and subsequently apologize to the President of the United States and the Prime Minister of Israel, whom you've accused of murder?

The left truly has serious problems in being objective.  Murtha, and those who defend him, are a bubble off plumb. What makes them dangerous is that they put agenda before everything.  This so-called patriot would convict someone without a trial, slander and libel them all for his own personal hatred of our country.  I hope he loses his behind in this suit.

Likewise, while the left WANTS to believe that Israel killed innocents, the TRUTH is that the building wasn't damaged to the point of instantaneous destruction by them at all.  The shell hit outside of the building.  They stayed in the building for hours before its collapse and even the bodies are in tact.  Not what one would expect from a "shelled" building.   Why would anyone stay in a targeted area?  Why wouldn't the much revered Hezbollah not get them to safety?

There is NO logic in cries from the left.  There is NO logic in their constant fault-finding of Israel.  What a bigoted group the left is, and yet they will staunchly deny it.  The PC bunch really are a joke.
