It May Not Be Over

Looks like Lewis is going to F1's version of the NASCAR Hauler before the next race in China. They will be discussing his role in the crash between Vettel and Webber.

From what I've read if there is a penalty it will probably be a loss of 10spots grid after qualifying. However it could be a DQ for the Fuji race. Now wouldn't that make the last two races interesting? It should would put Ferrari back into contention.

It will be interesting to see how they handle the new darling of F1.

Personally I hope he doesn't win the championship. Do I think he deserves to be the champion – reluctantly I must answer, “Yes”.  I do feel that he is very lucky to be driving this year’s car and not suffering with last year’s McLaren. What bothers me is the British attitude. I work with two who last year never watched a race. It was too boring. After the third race this year they made it a point to stop by my office and gloat. The British have always had a strong presence in F1, and I don’t understand why they cannot support Button, Davidson and Coulthard. The only time last year one of my colleagues brought up the results of a race was after Button’s win. He didn’t like it when I mentioned that it was too bad that all the major drivers had retired.  I guess I just have a problem with fair-weather fans, and it does rain a lot in Britain.

Yeah, but it's still not over thanks in part to McLaren's pit strategy and Lewis' brain fade on entering the pits.
OK, brain fade is a bit harsh, but he should have known that he was driving on the equivalent of ice by then. That was a rookie mistake, one he'll probably never make again.
