What do all the IRL fans think? Would you like to see Dale Jr give Indy a shot?

Jr. couldn't handle a real race car, and besides he would be trying to get around Milka and there would be a shunt for sure.

It would be a wise career move, moving up to racing in the greatest race in the world

If by greatest, you mean most over rated. then sure. Only six to nine people finishing a race on an oval's ridiculous, it says that you can't drive.
In all seriousness, if Montoya can't switch from Indy/F1 to stock car and be sucessful, what makes you guys think it will work the other way?

If I read your post correctly you do not seem to think Dale Jr. would do very well in open wheel race cars. Why do you have this opinion?
I disagree with your assessment of JPM's NASCAR efforts. He currently leads the rookie standings, he has won a Busch Series race, and has been hanging around the Top 20 in points. Sure, he may not be threatening to knock Jeff Gordon from the top of the Cup points standings but he is doing fairly well for a rookie.

Dale Jr. can try a IRL car but he may not like them may be nice to see him test
one and for JPM I think he is doing good and at least he can get in to the
races and do well and MW cant even make a race![Big Smile [:D]](/emoticons/biggrin2.gif)

Dale is a real man. Why would he want to drive one of them "sissy" cars?

I tend to believe real men drive cars or motorbikes at 220+ mph with nothing stopping the their helmets hitting a brick wall.
In the rain.
Sorry, when I need an adrenalin fix a closed cockpit car will not do.

Yes, I look forward to see him running again at the premier event of IMS....the Brickyard 400.
