I am sure Dale Jr. will make all this happen. I am a big fan of his and I pray for his family. I thought it was very moving when he had his car camoflaged for a race. My son is 22 and he is in Iraq right now so I hope everyone will have their flags out. Dale, I am sure that you will be on top again never give up and hold on to your dreams and never doubt yourself.

Funny you should post a note to Dale Jr. in a Ford discussion board.Smile [:)]

Last I heard he doesn't even like SITTING in a Ford!

I am a taxi driver and I drive a '99 Ford Crown Vic Interceptor.  I have been thinking about getting a Chevy so if by some Miracle Dale Jr. should need a taxi in Panama City, FL, he would pick my Chevy Taxi.

BUT....all of Chevy's large capacity cars and vans are all front wheel drive and they just don't hold up as good as a rear wheel drive vehicle.

Now that they have quit making Crown Vics even for police use, I'm not sure what I will drive once mine dies and goes to the large parts place in the sky!Laughing [:laugh]

I figure it has another 2-3 years on the road. Just now broke in at 207,125 miles. Thumbs Up [:thumbup]

Never was a Ford person until I started driving a taxi.  They make EXCELLENT taxis.  Lincolns are second best, but parts are expensive!  We have had Caddies and Caprices and they just didn't hold up as good as the Ford products.

The guy who sells us our taxis tried Chevy Luminas, but they were JUNK!  Couldn't sell them.

I hear the police are going to be driving Ford Fusions.  I just don't see it, but I could be wrong.  I think they will be like the Luminas, but Ford is Tough, so they might be better.  Awful small.  Have never sat in one, but they look small!Stunned [:|]

I will always be a Jr. fan no matter what he drives, or who he drives for.  I see more and more NASCAR pushing Gordon.  As far as I am concerned they can put him on billboards, products, etc. etc. I just can't like him!  Seeing him sponsoring something makes me want to buy the opposite.  He will NEVER be as popular or loved as much as Jr.  Jr. driving on the same team won't change how a LOT of people feel about Gordon.  It has NOTHING to do with his racing ability, or his wins.  It is just HIM!  Some people you just like and some you don't.  He just doesn't have the charisma that Jr. Smoke, and Martin have.  They are just likeable no matter what they do!  Big Smile [:D]
