Was wondering before the race who in the devil would put Milko Duno in a car, a danger to all drivers, especially with most teams having only one car available to be wrecked by her. Surprise, a 3rd world dictator named Hugo Chavez., CITGO is owned by Hugo Chavez. Anyone who buys gas there is nuts. A dictator who has as close friends, humanitarians like Castro, Iran's President Ahmadinejad and S.Korean leader Kim Jong Il, oh and who also loves to read the history of Hitler. Oh yea, Chavez also has hollyweird pals Shawn Penn and suzan Zeradan.

Anyone on this forum questioning Milkas skills has obviously little professional racing experience. She qualified ahead of several drivers with far more experience on ovals. The biggest danger was leaving the broken car of the idiot kanaan out on the track. That was a stupid move on race controls part. He also almost wrecked Helio. So who'd you say was the most dangerous? Other than that issue it was a pretty decent race.
As for the oil/gas issue maybe you ought to read up to see who the real fuel criminals are. Your own USA oil companies stated in the news they slowed production on purpose so stock prices would go up. Now who'd you say were the dictators. His oil has to go through American companies to be sold here, he didn't set the price at the pump, your beloved USA oil companies did. Does a Hugo owned company sell stocks on wall street?? Right now USA fuel companies are running out of storage facilities to hide fuel and the trucking nation knows this, so support thier strike.

What? Now, I would like to see her do well, but to say we shouldn't question her current skill level? And on an oval? Ok.

It's not much different thinking than on the nascar forum where many gordon and stewart fans called goodyear tires crapola as if they knew what they were talking about. If you question any drivers skill level I would like to see your qualifications on your profile, thats all. Milka is doing fine with the small budget her team has compared to Danicka and kanaan. Kanaan has caused more accidents in the IRL alone than milka probably ever will in her short stay. Team owners and race control were extremely angry with kanaans actions yet a person comes on here suggesting Milka shouldn't be out there. I have a problem with that and the suggestion any other driver shouldn't be out there. They were checked out by qualified people before being allowed to participate so why would a fan question her qualifications? I don't think any series has the best drivers over all but the best funded for thier particular desire. So in my view funding is a higher priority than skill level in all series when selecting available drivers which can cause situations where you have drivers like Milka who some feel aren't as well prepared skill wise. Isn't that a more fair statement of many drivers than to question thier on track abilities?

As much as I'd love to jump in on the Milka Duno pile-on, she wasn't the only rolling chicane out there. This race, I think, is where Champ Car's fatal flaw of cutting out ovals entirely was horribly exposed, not to mention the ludicrous idea of trial-by-fire with rookies like Viso, Moraes, Parera, etc.
Perhaps these kids should take a page from their NASCAR brethren and get some laps in the support series while they're at it. Or maybe some of these Champ Car teams should have put them there in the first place and reached into the IndyCar barrel and pulled guys like Davey Hamilton and Billy Boat.
You think this is awkward, wait till we get to Indy...

Good call. The former ChampCar teams should bring back Billy Boat and all the other drivers who were tossed on the IRL scrap heap when TG's blurry Vision changed focus. Now that the two are mergified it's time for someone to keep TG honest. Maybe Gerry could run Greg Ray alongside Paul Tracy.
