At the 1962 AHRA Labor Day Nationals which Hunt won, but not mentioned in the story, was that on the final run against a skinney kid from Cal., both cars fouled with Hunt car going red and Don Prudhomme running off in the grass at the start. After about 30 minutes of haggling the race was rerun with Hunt winning.
