Round 1 - Sox 2 - Yanks 1

Yanks had plenty of opportunies to do something last night with Ortiz, Pap, and Okajima all sitting but the Sox got the job done! Now on to Cleveland for 2 and on to NY for 2 more. What a hellish schedule so far for my boys..

Well my Reds have quickly slid down to fifth place in the NL Central after losing four straight now.  Including getting swept by Pittsburgh.  ( That's right. I said swept by Pittsburgh )

I had to call my dad, who lives outside of Pittsburgh, and see if he's seen how well the Bucs are playing. Above 500 ball for them is excellent!

the Bucs have a nice little core of young fun players. (Bay, McLouth, Doumit, Snell, Gorzelanny)

I think they could surprise a few teams this year..

Yeah... they do have some good/young talent. Just hope they stay around long enough to eventually be a contender.

It's been weird seeing Joe Torre in a Dodger's uniform.  It will be interesting to see at the end of the season what he will have done with the organization.

Round 2 - Sox 1 Yanks 1

Overall - Sox 3 Yanks 2

I'm VERY happy the Sox got out of that hellish opening schedule at 10-7!

Now they get 4 home games against the Rangers. I'm thinking they take 3 of those games. We'll see..
