I gave my neighbor my old trailer brake and wired it up, installed relays under the hood and tested the system. I'd had the brake control around since 2k and hadn't used it but once so I had no real use for it.

His quote from a local garage was 65 labor 65 for the brake.

He tried to give me a bill for doing the work but I'm just just a nice guy smoetimes I suppose...

Oh, did I mention I borrow the truck all the time?  LOL
Diesels cost out the algore...I hate using that thing.

Anyway J...the Xterra managed 17.7 on the return trip from Myrtle Beach, not bad for a 4.0L & 4000lbs huh...

Your 400 million pound truck with a 600# rock manages 19....crap we have the Ford of the Japanese makes it would appear.

No, just young and naive at the time I married him....Have I told ya'll how, before we were married my hand NEVER touched a door knob?  He opened every door for me!  Then, he quit as soon as we were married.  I mean litterally as soon as we were married.  As we left the church to go on our honeymoon, I had to open the church door and my own car door....I've been opening my own doors since.   Not that opening a door is a big deal, I mean I do have hands and all...But still, you think he would have been less obvious about snowballing me into marrying him.  He could have at least continued the charade thoughout the honeymoon!
