Someone needs to put a bumper to the 48 car.

Finishing at the back of the pack during the chase is a good character builder. And then we'll have a championship race.

The flippin' chase sucks.

The the problem is to get to his bumper. Like or not Jimmy haters this guy and his team are in a league of their own. Look what happened last year if he didn't win (which was most of the time) he was in the top 5. I'm not a big JJ fan but I have to give credit where credit is due.

have no obamamama idea  why NW
just a money saving deal for dover to host the races at their "more valuable tracks" of gateway and nashville
it's a shame cause it's actually good racing there with good sightlines

This has been over since he took the lead.  A lot of prayers need to be answered Sunday in order for this to happen.  He needs to be in the 30's and the 5 and 24 get a top 5 to make this at least entertaining.

fan1080 do you realy think sr [Big E ] would wreck the the 48 at Dega ?

I say Big E would not .

And as far as others whom has said if Big E was around the COT would not be  , well the COT was because of the lost of Big E .

I didn't say Sr would take him out at Dega, just simply that he probably would have applied some pressure at some point to make sure Jimmy stayed on his toes. The Intimidator didn't always have to use his fender to get his point across.

I wasn't going to say anything - BUT since you brought it up. Sr couldn't rattle JG cage and after the first yr or so that Jeff was in Cup, Sr couldn't beat him on even a semi regular basis either.
Now JJ is out running JG    soooooooooooo..........................   how could he be intimidating to the guy who is beating the guy who beat him?

I'm not quite sure that some folks remember things the way they were as opposed to the way they WISH they were...... like I wish Jeff was gonna be the Champion again this year    heheheheheheh

JG had Srs goat for awhile but I truly believe had he not been taken from us so soon that he (Sr) was back on the upswing and would have given JG and or JJ a solid run as long as he wanted to race. I read somewhere a story about where Sr would be if he hadnt died. Most of those interviewed were old timers, D. Waltrip, Childress, M. Martin and they all said he was healthy again and hungry to win at least another title the year or two before he was killed. They said some of the bad wrecks had taken alot out of Sr. however Jr coming into Nascar had rejuventated him. I give JG his due but Sr was the MAN....just my humble opinion. Actually to be honest because of JJs dominance, Jrs lack of success and Tonys new team...Ive been pulling for JG....but dont tell anyone.....

Looks like they are going to bring F1 style qualifying to Nascar.  At least they are starting to head in the right direction to try and make this sport better.
