Outlaws 2007
8/14/2006 5:15 PM

Have some reliable sources telling us DIRT is trying to bring at least six major World of Outlaws races to NBC television next season as well as moving the rest of the sprint car schedule to SPEED while also beefing up its late model television package. Also an offer has been extended to Steve Kinser to come back to the Outlaws fold next year with major money thrown around for a retirement/farewell tour. Stay tuned.

Do you have a reliable source stating how much their debt total is up to now?

The 360 Ref:
Do you have a reliable source stating how much their debt total is up to now?

Do you have anything else to say except  "how much of Debt Dirt has " and "Swindell bashing"?  That's 99.9% of your post. You cant be a Sprint Car fan...You seem to be gloating that a Sprint Car Series is in Debt.....Why????.Just so you can tell people on this board " I told ya so"???? Regardless of the group, it's bad for Sprint Car racing..Im not defending DIRT by no means But If you would actually go to the races and Support them instead of just sittin behind your keyboard bad mouthing their debt...then maybe things would be different....And As I have stated many time's before to you about Sammy.....He might go 1 for 99 @ the nats.......But......  HE STILL HAS ONE MORE THAN YOUR SORRY A$$.

Swindell bashing? I commended him on his stellar run from 20th to 18th just the other night. I guess you missed that post. I have also commended him for holding the worst losing percentage of all drivers with at least one nationals win. Pretty impressive heh.

As for Dirt have they landed a series title sponsor yet?

Are you paying Dirt's bills?  If not why should you be so consumed with that?

Also do you have a favorite driver?

Why would Steve come back to the WoO?  He's part owner of the NST!  Everybody says the NST won't last.. but look at how far this series has come in such a little amount of time!  Fred put everything together in a very short amount of time... put a good schedule together.  And then what the series has had to deal with with there founder being killed?  The owners are behind the series and know what dirt racing needs and next year people can judge them.  They're in there inaguaral season.. give them a break!  DIRT is gonna have to offer a big buyout of the NST if they expect Steve to come back... and they're already in enough debt... so go more into debt i guess... or watch your series slowly wash away and the people that love the sport to the roots (NST) take over.

Not sure who or what your reliable source is, Pete, but they're not reliable on this one. Don't know anything about the Speed/NBC thing, but I can tell you categorically that no offer whatsoever with major money (or any money) has been sent Kinser's way. (It wouldn't matter anyway.)  Why would you, or whomever, start such a rumor? There's already enough turmoil and consternation in this sport without people fabricating tales to help stir the pot, in pursuit of whatever agenda they may have.

Thanks flat. We'll stand by our source who is very well respected and connected to the sport. My personal opinion is I hope everyone comes back under one roof for the betterment of the sport, but we'll see how it plays out.

I don't believe that your source is as close to the story as FRR is to Kinser.Big Smile [:D]

Don't forget that said reporter has previously written a less than glowing story regarding Steve Kinser.
Pistone, your credibility with Kinser and NST fans is less than stellar, posing rumors on this board as a way of starting trouble, is more likely the scenario here.

For shame.

If NBC does televise some of the races, dont expect to see much racing in between commercials.

one thing is for sure steve won't be back as long as there is a nst. that's a given. and i got that from a  very reliable source. common sense. and why would woo hand over a bunch of money to get steve back when they are doing great without him? the nst is doing fine for their first year and the woo is doing their own thing.
