I'm showing my age but I hate the concept of the COT. I hate Toyota coming into NASCAR racing (all tho I owned a Supra and loved it) I hate the Lucky Dog. I hate past champions getting into a race just because they're past champions. Should be if you're a FULL TIME driver and past champion, you get in. I think that's what NASCAR intended but don't understand why they haven't changed that rule.

I'm not a fan of the COT, but if that is the only way to get away from the aero problems I guess it is better to run a IROC COT than a IROC XYZ car. I don't have a problem with Toyota coming into Nascar. They build a lot of cars here in the US so they benefit our economy more than a US company that builds in Mexico or Canada. The Lucky Dog is kind of interesting although it needs to be limited some. Being able to make up 5 laps because of LD isn't what the intent of it was. I would like to also get rid of the past champ also and for that matter would set the field by the fastest 42 and then the highest ranking car that didn't make it on speed. Would also get rid of the chase and rework the old point system.
