What a finish!

How about the ending to the Nashville race today? I think everyone seen that comming after Bodine and Skinner got together the first time. Some of the most exciting finishes are in the truck series. I love it.

Being a Benson fan...I think even I was slow on the draw with what developed the last few seconds of the race. I was excited about a top 5 finish, after JB starting 22nd. 4th going into the green-white-checkers. Then all of a sudden a tussle, an opening, and a win. Johnny's third of the season. I was hopping around my family room like a teenage nut. (Oh, to be that young again...on second thought...not) ;)
What an ending! JB is a smart racer...and a clean racer. Kudos to Marcos Ambrose as well. Good job, Aussie!

Yea that was stupid Skinner was all mad at Bodine when all Bodine did was get underneath him and hold his ground, he shouldn't have pulled down where he was at and it wouldn't have happend, Bodine isn't gonna give up that spot with 2 laps to go he got underneath him fair and square. Then all Skinner did was try to wreck Bodine ruining any chance either of them had to win race, if he hadn't been stupid he still could have had it. But that was just an awesome finish.

Bodine went to the outside.
Skinner moved up to block him.
Bodine went to bottom.
Skinner entered as low as he could.
I guess Bodine shouldn't try to pass?

Apparently not............what is he thinking going for the win on a green-white checkered like that.......just horrible.

I would also add that Skinners wife was equally as impressive with the tantrum she pulled and that clipboard was excellent! (I can't say I blame her for her husband did pull a boneheaded move that cost him the win and a decent finish) That was a great finish glad to see Benson win again. Just think if Toyota does that next year with the first 4 spots in the championship standings....![Thumbs Down [:thumbdown]](/emoticons/thumbdown.gif)

Johnny was hilarious in the media center after the race. I asked him if he was laughing at the two idiots as he watched it happen and he said "No, I hadn't cleared them yet."
EDIT: BTW I was thinking of you DE4JB when he won and I got to tqalk to him. Did you know he made the "million dollar club" on Saturday?

Yeah TurnOneJudge,. even Marcos " The wonder from down under" Ambrose couldn't believe what was going on up the front, He certainly is enjoying his Nascar Dream! That heads up move to follow JB is typical of his skill & determination, not to mention that he sits in 4th place in the rookie award!

G'ady Crazy_Bone, on Marcos personal web site he actually tells you that every track he has been to is a completely new set of things to learn, & it is really interesting for him to come to terms in how to drive the the trucks on the ovals compared to road racing tracks, so for the lack of his skill at the ovals, he is doing great!

On the resurfacing of Talladega JOHNNY BENSON said that even with his experience, he said it should be eqall for all the drivers!
So do the rookies have to Race in the Arca race, to get the experience in runing on a track in around 190mph. in the traffic so they don't course the Big One to happen!
Your thoughts please?
