It's good to be home. 

Took  a U-Haul and moved Young Son from his dorm room to a fancy, palacial rent house off of University Blvd. in Lubbock.

He came in Sunday.......we loaded up here on Tuesday, drove to Victoria and picked up some furniture and other stuff ( pots, pans, dishes, silverware)  Sweet Daughter  donated to the cause. Then......we drove to Austin. Cat'  had some more stuff to send, and made dinner for us. I wasn't too tired, so we headed out and made tracks for Abilene.

Spent the night in Abilene, made it into Lubbock 'bout 10AM Wednesday. Got unloaded, set up, turned in the U-Haul........

And caught Cattle Call Airlines 4:50 flight out of LBB. Change in Dallas.....back home 'bout 7:30 last night.

Ain't it fun having kids? Just think, some day you'll be doing it for the grandkids. It never ends.

You only drove up there to that forsaken spot smack dab in the middle of nowhere, but you didn't drive all the way back?
