Donny's interview
8/14/2006 5:52 PM
Just thought his post-race interview was as honest an interview I have seen from a sports figure in some time. He was self-depracating and just very transparent.

Great interview in my opinion. He laid it on the line, no punches pulled.
Good for Donny.

We didn't hang around to listen because I just figured he'd find something to whine about as usual.

I agree with all these post. I dreaded to listen to Donny's interview but I'm glad I did. Instead of a lot of whining and ranking on other drivers that wouldn't pull off the track and let him go by, he kind of said it like it really is. Maybe he does have a problem talking and doing interviews. I will give him credit, (even I am one of those making noise about his interviews) he can flat drive a sprint car!!! Would have been interesting if Lasoski could have gotten to the front. They both had the fastest cars there.

Donny has a air plane and Danny has the nicest trailer in Higginsville.

If not mistaken, it is Donny's father (Danny) who has the plane.
Now Danny Lasoski could live in a "trailer" but I am quite sure he does not own a plane.
Lest we downgrade those who live in "trailers" the Mrs. and I just viewed one as we
are considering purchasing a "trailer" (actually, they are manufactured homes) and the
one we viewed was approximately 3,400 square feet for "only" $314,000.00.
Wonder how many on this forum live in a home as expensive as "trailers" are these days?![Sarcasm [:sarcasm]](/emoticons/sarcasm.gif)

They are manufactured homes if you live in one, the are trailers if you don't.
