They added four races from Champ car to bring the count up to twenty dates.

This is great, but what is going to happen with the Chump drivers when they are not on road coarses and get their car up to speed on the large tracks.  Looks like lots of wrecks.

Maybe you would be happy if they got "Vukied" by Milka Duno

Moraes is the only Champ Car affiliated driver who looks to be in over his head, apart from lack of horsepower, but he'll beat Duno and Roth and probably others once there's more parity in the teams.

Champ Car only had one year without an oval race. The teams know ovals. Some have raced Indy in the past. Need I remind you of the 2001 Indy 500? Unless you are insinuating that Champ Car drivers are incapable of racing on ovals or learning to race on ovals? You wouldn't insinuate that would you? Because I would have to remind you that IRL drivers seemed able to navigate a road and street courses when the idiot grandson decided to alter his vision to include road courses. Since Champ Car drivers are smarter and better than IRL drivers, this shouldn't be a problem.Smile [:)]

That was 7 years ago!!

How many current CC drivers (current as in the merger drivers) were there?

Doesn't matter. Vuky is impling that CCWS drivers aren't smart enough or good enough to compete against the IRL drivers. In 2001 they underestimated the CART drivers and got their asses handed to them. As Robin Miller said at the time that he didn't think there was enough Prozac to help all the depressed people in Gasoline Alley.

My point is that the IRL fans shouldn't underestimate the CCWS drivers and teams. Some IRL fans are being their usual dipstick selves and talking smack. The CCWS drivers will be happy to teach them the same lesson again, 7 years later, because they have obviously forgotten.

So, whats you point?

I doubt its likely that you even know who Vuky was.  Probably the best driver to ever set foot on the track at Indy, and that include the likes of A.J. Foyt,   and the Unsers.  The only difference is that Vudy did it without all the tech that they have today.  But that was when open wheel drivers were real men who could drive racing machines.  You might have read about them in a book somewhere.

If Milka is going to do something to welcome the drivers from ChampCar into the IRL then I would hope that she invites one of her hot friends to the track and sets up a Venezuela Taco Stand.
