unfortunately its the 27 brewco car, I was hoping it would be the 18 car for gibbs starting next year, but he will be in the 27 car for richmond.

Yeah, that's a good idea. Have them replace a champion veteran with an unstable mess of a driver. Don't try to improve the equipment, just do that. Wonderful idea.

he has got what it takes, he was doing great when he practiced the gibbs cars, pretty much always at the top of the speed charts. if brewco does get some better equipment I think casey will be a championship threat next season.

This team has really fallen off the map over the past couple of seasons. They and David Green/Jeff Purvis were weekly threats and championship contenders not too long ago. Casey Atwood will certainly not do any better than it has been running.

well wimmer finished 8th tonight in the 66 so they do have some decent stuff around the shop, I just hope by the time 2007 rolls around they have something for casey that is capable of running up front and getting some wins.

Yeah,
The first time i heard of Casey was a race at Daytona a few years ago for Brewco. He was in a pretty bad wreck where he flipped a** over tea kettle down the front stretch. Though, I believe he has a load of talent and I hope him and Brewco torn that organization around and win a race or two.

Seen any mention of a contract for next year? If I was a betting man I'd bet that Casey is finishing hte season this year and Brad Coleman will be in the Busch ride next year..........

He was on trackside last night talking about his past experience in Cup. Very candid about his own shortcomings......Im glad to see him getting another chance.
