I was actually gonna go this year....... but then I realized........ I've been too *** spoiled up here in the Northwest. I "might" be able to sit and watch one race from the stands and be able to enjoy myself... but there's no way I could watch three. Too far away from the action. And since the bikini contest doesn't inerest me at all...... I decided just to visit Chico some other time on a not so busy weekend. Sooooooooooooooo..... I'll only be going as far as the Grove this year....

Of course I am just kidding. There are a lot of things I would give up before skipping the Gold Cup!!!!!!!!!! Food, beer(most likely), sleep, more food.
Besides I just confirmed Randy Frank is coming and I am his ride. If I don't go he would have to sit in the Sac airport all weekend.
And Frizzy, Gold Cup is more than just a few races, its an event unlike any you will see on the West Coast, period!!!!! Even the Dirt Cup which is amazing in its own right.
