Linking of Nazis, Iran Seen as Jab at Obama

On an emotional visit to mark Israel's 60th anniversary, President Bush on Thursday compared people seeking talks with Iran and radical Islamic groups to the Nazis' appeasers, provoking a political storm at home and accusations that he was politicizing the celebration.

Bush's address to the Israeli parliament also stirred intense debate between Israelis and Palestinians. His strong words of empathy for Israel brought lawmakers in the tiny chamber to their feet.

'Bout time.

'Bout time somebody grew a set and called a spade a spade. The writer got the headline wrong. It shoulda' read:

The President speaks about grownup stuff most Americans inherently understand, while Democrats strive to remain self-important by screaming "no fair", "Bush is a poopoo-head".

As for SanFranNan..........."Methinks the lady doth protest too much."

President Bush did not name The Magic Negro in his speech regarding talking to despots without qualifications. President Bush stated the facts......and the Democrats become unhinged. Why? Because the truth was exposed about their Messiah's message of appeasement and discussions with nations hell bent to destroy America.

The Democrats realize BarryO is a weak kneed putz of a candidate, but they don't have any other choice than try to cover his flaws with phoney protestations.

Where is their anger and outrage every time Ahmalamadingdongdinnerjacket announces he is going to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth? They NEVER get upset about that. They wanna' go talk to him about the arrangements.

While I agree with your sentiments E3, it is too little too late for this POTUS.

He should have taken this approach six years ago, especially on domestic issues. While the constant doom and gloom of the media is not helpful and somewhat to blame, Ronald Reagan got the same kind of press and he overcame and got his legislation passed despite overwhelming Democrat majorities in both houses.

Reagan was a true conservative, Bush never was.

We might be drilling in ANWR and off of our coasts. The Republicans might not have lost their way and still held Congress.

Bush never fought for a good part of his agenda and the Repukes didn't come to his rescue. The guy who single-handedly effed over the Republican Party is now it's '08 presidential candidate.

What could have been....

2 POINTS
First is that this must have been very true to evoke such a reaction from Democrats...they know their position is the wrong one and the truth stings when it exposes your worst flaws.

Second, the Republicans can win if they return to the truth and the conservative agenda.  Call a spade a spade and quit pulling punches because you think it will get votes if you don't, because their kissy face strategy has done just the opposite.  You don't get respect by being meely mouthed disingenuous yes men which is what all the republicans are at this point.  They better change and change quick because right now they have millions of people like me that would love to vote for a real conservative, but would either sit out or vote 3rd party rather than vote for one of their candidates.

This with the exception that I would write in Satan against Lindsey Graham of Sc no matter what... better Satan than a cheap imitation.

HYPOCRICY, they name is DEMOCRAT PARTY

These clowns have their panties in a wad up their crack about Bush's speech, saying things like "this is horrible that Bush attacked the Magic Negro on foreign soil....we have a standard of not attacking the US or the president while he's on foreign soil"....

....attacking Bush while he's on foreign soil for his "attack" on Oprahma that wasn't an attack on him at all.

Hey did not Clinton critisize Bush from Saudi Arabia, and then Gore critisized him from England and then carter from several different foriegn countries?

Which is worse.... a form leaders critisizing a sitting president while in a foriegn country during time of war   or a current leader critsizing a leader wannabe from a while in a foriegn country?  If you ask me there ought ot be two ex presidents and an ex-vice president that don't hold visa's or passports anymore.

Look, the only way I could support something like pulling Carter, Gore, and Clinton's passports and visas would be....

.....if they were out of the country at the time.

I found it to be quite interesting that Osama Obama was taking it as an attack on him when no names were mentioned and I believe Bush said some people not just one person.

I do have to question Obama's label as the most liberal senator serving when he hasn't served a full term and has done next to nothing in the time he has been there.
