Yeah... no thank you. Florida sounds really nice after looking at those too!

Ed actually suggested we might look into moving to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan when he retires. *thud* Apparently on Mackinac Island they don't have cars? And use snow mobiles to get everywhere? Silly people. Sounds pretty... but that's about it.

Hey NW, I don't want to snow on your parade, but I've been to a bunch of Daytona 500's. I've seen weather in the low 80's and I've seen damp humid weather with temps in the 50's and I've seen nights in the mid 20's and windy.

We can discuss global warming over beers when we get together next month.

Those pics are beautiful!  Of course, it is nice to just view the view as opposed to having to live in it everyday!

Yeah baby, bringing my long johns (no pun intended J) and I will be well prepared.  Been going to Chico Ca. for The Mini Gold Cup ten years now and always have the warm stuff.   When we were in Charlotte in Nov. of 07' the hawk was out.   Dam it was cold.  But then again 13 below two weeks ago makes 30 seem balmy.   Like the Boy Scouts once taught me many moons ago...be prepared

Know what you mean about the cold; below freezing for 28 days (not including wind chill factor) makes a fireplace an a huge stack of wood look nice

(second night of the strom)

Next day made for some nice pic's
