Damn, Indy Used To Be Magnificent!
I was just cruising U-Tube with Foyt & Andretti search words. It is just unbelievable how beautiful those cars were and how spectacular the 500 was. I'm sorry, but I just don't get as excited about today's races and cars. Foyt in the Coyote, Unser in the Johnny Lighting, Andretti in the STP car and Jones in the Granatelli turbine. I know I'm romanticizing, but the cars had and drivers had character.
I sure hope they can recapture some of the greatness with the reunification but I doubt it.

Been seeing alot of wishful thinking that the series open it up at least a little to competition as for engine and/or chassis builders.

Now that ChampCar is supporting the Indy 500 the race will start moving back to its place as one of the most important in the world.  All open wheel racing fans should thank Kevin Kalkhoven for all he has done to save American open wheel racing.

Thank you KK for selling out to Tony George before CCWS went bankrupt. The CCWS regulars won't do much to help INDY now. Nobody left there, other than Tracy, that anybody outside of Champ Car maniacs know. Tony George should start first by rescheduling the race back to its earlier starting time.
