Memories of Flemington Speedway

I have only been by this place and that was a long time ago.
I thought this might be a good first Late Model thread.

Looks like another track that went from dirt to pavement.
btw, great to have a late model board. 3 more days and my butt will be on the rickety old wood bleachers watching some dirt late models and 410 sprint cars and drinkin' some beer. I can't wait. Supposed to be nice and sunny and 66 degrees.

I hear you. I'll have to go to Knoxville to see Sprinter's, but there will be smoe good racing at Cleveland Speedway. I hope to get more than my share this summer. I'll really be glad when we finally get the house settled and we're moved in.
Are you going to Smoke's charity event at Eldora?

If you're referring to the Prelude where the Nascar drivers are racing late models probably not. I'm really only a casual Nascar fan. Not enough of one to go that. Plus I've kind of gotten to the point where I hate dealing with big crowds of people. I went to the King's Royal last year at Eldora. And although the racing was good, it was just so overcrowded with people. I'm sure you Nascar folks are used to that though. We'll still be good for a few Eldora shows this year. But we're still deciding which ones we're going to. There's lots of good dirt track racing around my neck of the woods.
