The Celebration
10/30/2007 4:11 PM

Alright... all questions regarding "The Celebration" with Dale Jr. can be posted and will, hopefullyBig Smile [:D], be answered here.

Here are a few details regarding "The Celebration."

1. Ok, when we say you won 2 tickets to "The Celebration" that means you will receive 1 RSVP card and you can bring any guest you would like, as long as you return the card in the allotted time.

2. If you win 4 tickets, you can bring yourself and a guest on one RSVP card and 2 guests of your choosing on the second RSVP card as long as you denote on the card that these two people are guests of yours.

3. The date of "The Celebration" will be determined by where Dale Jr. finishes in the points. The point standings determine what day Dale Jr. will be practicing in Daytona, FL as "The Celebration" is to be held during testing for the Daytona 500. Jr. Motorsports will inform me of the date and I will provide it to you.

4. Dale Jr. will NOT be signing autographs at "The Celebration." This means NO... ABSOLUTELY NO DIECAST, T-SHIRTS, HATS or any other memorabilia are to be brought to the party.

  •    Dale Jr. will sign a limited amount of hats and t-shirts prior to the event which will be given out at the event

5. Dale Jr. WILL be in the Daytona 500 Experience's (formerly known as Daytona USA) IMAX Theatre for at least 30 minutes for a fan "Question and Answer" session. Last year Dale stayed for nearly an hour due to the fact that the winning players and their guests were AWESOME.

6. This will not be a formal dinner. Last year we had standing flat top tables where food was served. Dale Jr. will not be there when food is being served as he will be in his motorhome showering for the Q&A sessionBig Smile [:D]

7. Alcohol will be at the event. 2 drink tickets will be given to each attendee and 2 drink tickets will be given to each of their guests for beverages of their choosing, including alcohol. After the 2 tickets are used, the individual will need to pay cash for their next drink.

8. There are players here available on the forums to discuss and share their experience at "The Celebration" last year. You know who you are!!!! Tell these newbs about the party!!

Hey.  Hope all is going well.  Thanks for the post.  In regards to your post, should it not just be a matter of Junior's schedule and narrowing it down to the date.  If I'm not mistaken, Daytona dates for testing as well as car #'s testing at each session have already been determined based on owner points after Chicagoland race weekend.  Unless that has changed, Junior should be testing January 14-16.  That assumption is based upon owner points after Chicagoland for car #25 (since Mears is taking over car #5 which I believe included the #5 owner points).  If that is correct, owner points for car #25 after Chicagoland were18th puting Junior in the second wave (even numbers) which will be January 14-16.  But........things do change - meaning that I could have just wasted my time in typing this and probably have.

yeah, everything Mom said is trueWoot [:woot] only doesn't look like I'll be making the celebration dinner unless I have 3 gr8 races in a row and can make up 17 or so positionsSad [:(] but I may go down for testing and the fanfest anyway.

THE CELEBRATION IS THE ONLY PLACE TO BE IN JANUARY!!!

1.  Junior really appreciates his fans and the Q&A session was fantastic.

2.  You get to meet some wonderful people that play the game each week and you get to put a face and/or body with their game names.

3.  The staff of Racing One, the Reality Cup Racing game, and Daytona USA are terrific.  They do their best to help you enjoy every aspect of the Celebration.  By the way DOC, more hot wings or more food of any kind this year would make it better.  Big Smile [:D]

4.  You can get some great pictures, autographs, etc. during the testing that's going on while you're there.

IF you are good enough to get an invite to the Celebration, it is something that is definitely worth the trip.  DOC and his staff are the best.

Thanks for the compliments Stak! We'll see what I can do about the food situation this yearWink [;)]

Alright, I emailed Dale's sister today and another fella over at Jr. Motorsports this morning to see if they can update me, in regards to what date Jr. will be available. I hate to bother them with the season winding down but I felt we needed an updateBig Smile [:D]

So hang in there, be patient and enjoy the remainder of the season. I'll provide the date ASAP.

HI All,

I attended the celebration last year. It was awesome! I am so glad I went.

I live in Phoenix so it was an effort to juggle my schedule but a once in a lifetime experience.

All the staff were awesome...The location was great...and the friends I made from playing this game is very dear to me..

Plus Doc- you rock!!!

unfortunately this year my gmae rank isn't high enough to secure an invite, but I cherish the memories from last year and can't wait to hear from you all how this year's party goes!!!
