Top 8 are inverted. Dewease was leading and struck turn one fence....maybe lost a left rear tire. Dewease had been leading by a full chute on this big half mile. Everyone was watching the race between Rahmer, Steve Kinser, Pittman and Dollansky. Rahmer and Kinser have had a torid battle for about ten laps. Rahmer finally won out and then Kinser had his hands full with Pittman. Pittman had just passed Kinser when the Dewease wreck happened. They will take Dewease to the local hospital. Our safety personnel are carefully extracting him from his sprinter. He is in good hands as there are about 15 men and women in yellow getting him out of his car. What a deal, he was leading by such a huge margin; this race was his. Here's how they are running: Rahmer, Pittman, Kinser, Dollansky, Schatz, Wimmer, Wright, Lynch, Jr., Rilat, Kemenah, Layton, S. Swindell, Chesson, Allard, Solwold, King, Alley, Campbell, Green, Dobmeier, Cranston. For Dude fans, Danny did not make it out of the B Main. The "B" was packed with a lot of drivers who could not make the top four in the qualifying heats. We have another red flag for Steve King has struck turn three fence really hard. Rahmer had pulled away from the pack and Pittman was second. Also, Schatz had passed Kinser and just as the red flew, Dollansky had passed Kinser too. That pass will be negated. It is Rahmer, Pittman, Schatz, Kinser, Dollansky, Rilat, Wimmer, Layton, Wright, Lynch, Jr., Kemenah, Chesson, Solwold, Alley, Allard, Swindell, King, Green, Campbell and Dobmeier. Those are the running cars. Some good news...they did not take Lance Dewease to the hospital for a checkover. It is over and Rahmer has won it!
