when trying to send a PM or go to different areas in PM's?
I think I'll try to replicate the error in IE7.
It might just be a Firefox thingie.

I haven't gotten any of the messages, slowness, or other irregularities others have. Who knows?

On IE7 here, and I am getting that message as well. I tried sending you a PM just in case you didn't see my thank you post in the other thread. Again, thanks to you and k for the switchplate, it ROCKS!
I can't even get into the private message area, as soon as I click on the link it gives me this message:
We're sorry...
An unexpected error has occurred. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I got it and responded, but like Shellcat, I got that error message.
Odd indeed that this problem only occurs with some users and not all. I've only started experiencing this problem in the last several days. Prior to that, I didn't have any of the problems some other member peeps were having.

Lemme go check the other computer, it is the red-headed stepchild here, it has Vista.
I will go see if anything is different there.
On the Vista computer now, and it is still giving me the same message.
So yeah, I guess it is just certain users this affects.
