I have spent more money than I care to talk about, but its a new ZO6 Vette.  Its in storage until spring in my garage.  Drove it home, too much power.  Don't plan on driving it more than a few hundred miles a summer.  First summer will destroy the rear tires probably.  If someday I plan on selling the car, say in 20 years with maybe 2500 miles on it, would it be best to have the original tires or would someone not know they were originals.  Need help with this questioin.  Been told to keep everything original. 

speedy , drive it like you stole it......make those stock tires last about a week . Belive me you would do better in the stock market if you want a good return on your money.....heck even with the current madness in the housing market a shmuck like me had more than doubled his money in less than 15 years ( course the less said about my taxes the better....) I had a deposit on a 07 ZO6......even dealt with the famous Corvette Vickie at Kerbeck down at AC......but after a lot of thought and hand wringing I couldnt live with the cheap interior so looks like Im getting the MB SLK ......but that Vette sure sounds sweet .

I disabled the butterflies in two of the exhaust tips.  Were there for drive-by noise regs.  Just pulled the fuse. Fuse was used only for that purpose so no problem.  Sound is great. I had order in December of 05, was told in Sept of 06 that I would not get one until 08  (late 2007), then all of a sudden, the one guy in front of me balked on the $4300 price increase for 07, and they called me. Had it two months later, an 07.

Cant imagine balking at the bucks....esp when you are in that kind of price range . Its for sure a real sweet car and only the Shelby Mustangs I drove sounded halfway as good .Cant imagine how good it would sound with a set of Borlas or Flowmasters......throw in intake system and it would be a real flashback to the good old days , Ive noticed lately a lot of manufacters (sp) have been getting serious on the sound of their cars.......another reason youll never see me in a electric car.....
