I didn't know Denny made the decisions for JGR....In fact if you heard his interview he said he didn't want to replace Aric in the car.....it sucks when sponsors pay all that money expecting a certain guy to drive the car and expect to get what they paid for, but they do pay the bills. It's really pathetic to blame decisions made by management on a driver.

It was a pretty lame move by someone in the company.

Isn't it funny that people all of a sudden want to slam Denny? I've read a bunch of posts on numerous boards that all of a sudden think he's whiner, baby and lots of other words. Sad really. Last year everyone was in shock that this kid was doing so well, congratulating him for being a rookie and winning races, containing himself, etc. Did people really think he'd be quiet for that long? And don't you think the cameras are in his face more so now than this time last year? Yeah, he won races, but this year he hasn't. So the evil media wants to get the "action" and "wrong comments" from the guys who aren't getting the breaks, Hamlin obviously being one of them if your head isn't up your ass.

He's a good kid. Some are going to question this whole thing and think it's all about him, and you know what? So what if it is? He's the Cup driver. Almirola was doing fine, but who sells? Yeah.... Hamlin does. So.... sponsors don't care about who the "other" guy is. Fans in Milwaukee wanted Hamlin, not Almirola. Hamlin won the race, but credit goes to Almirola. Would I credit that as a win if I were him? Sure, why not? He qualified on pole, was in third when pulled from the car. He did all he could to get the car to where it was. Would I be pissed? Yeah, absolutely. But he doesn't see the big picture of the team. He just sees his need and want to race. Sad that that's how it should be but wasn't, but it's not Hamlin fault, IMO. Hamlin is just the kid that got the right ride and made it work.
