All Star Late Models

OK. So my first love are the sprint cars. But dirt late models are a very very close second. The All Star late models made a stop at my local short track last weekend and I put together a few short video clip segment that I took with my digital camera. It's not great. But it's decent.

Click the HQ button at the right for slightly better quality. Unless you have slow DSL like I do and don't want to wait for twenty minutes for it to load.

Thanks Carey. Glad you got some racing in. Watch your rumble film from Columbus and sure liked their push car.

Just a digital camera?  Not a video camera?   Amazing the technology today.  I too love late models, love the way they bounce around as they fly thru  the corners on a less than smooth track.  Watching the lead 3 or 4 cars fly thru the feature field is as good as watching the top 3 or 4 sprints fly thru the field, nose to tail, picking off backmarkers one by one.

Yeah. A $ 175 digital camera that I bought a few years ago. You can probably get it cheaper now. Canon Poweshot SX100. I wanted to be able to take pics aswell as video clips. The problem is that you can't really zoom once you start recording. Well you can but the auto focus screws up. Maybe you can manual focus after zooming. I'm not sure. And my SD card is only 4g. So I can only get about 35 minutes of video. But I like it. It's a tad bit bulky but no big deal.
