When are you programmers going to fix this place?
5/17/2008 12:55 PM
I can not access my PM's at all. The only time I can read any PM is when I first log in AND have new PM's. Once they are read, I can not access them again. I can not go to my Sent PM folder at all.

This is getting ridiculous. By the way, my wife and I are on 6 meg broadband service and accessing or posting to a thread is taking as long as two-three minutes way more often than normal.

The PM problem I am experiencing is occurring in IE7 and Mozilla. I have reason to believe that this error is somehow specifically related to my account. I don't think most users are experiencing this problem. I know that Shellcat is (was?).

But then again, so few people are coming around here anymore, that we may not know just how widespread this particular problem is.

This is the message I am receiving when I try to access my PM folders when I do not have new PM's.

We're sorry...

An unexpected error has occurred. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Rediculous at this point.
No way to stay logged in.
Can't change a subject line without deleting the thread and starting over.
on and on

Not even close to user friendly.  Have you seen any new peeps?  Any?  Maybe an ALT or two.  One person registered just to say how the sprint forum has gone to hell.
It ain't just the sprint forum.

If not for Kyle Busch's craziness this place would be a ghost town.

Yep, I am still having the same PM issue as well.   I think the programmers have given up on this place.

The only answers to our problems are coming from other posters. Regretfully some of us are having the same problems. CVH asked a question and still hasn't received an answer. And I really wanted to see his video.

People are leaving for the obvious reasons.  Slow, no  PM's.  Currently I am using my lap top which is fast, like lightening.  My desktop takes two minutes or so to post and I have fiber optic in the building.

Peeps can't get new passwords or anything here.  We value the  friendships we have developed here over the years.  How hard can it be to fix?

I probably should not have posted this thread, but it was dayum frustrating this morning (yesterday now). I talked to Doc a couple of days ago (he's thinking about going to the fall Atlanta race and I'm getting tickets as well) and there are bigger issues impacting the site than what is occurring with the message boards.

It's really hard to believe that this has all happened to what I consider to be the best racing site on the Internets.

Site has been very slow this weekend. NW says it's faster on his laptop. That's all I have and it's taking up to 3 minutes to post or to download someone else's post.
