this Crocker bashing (and you know who you are) is getting really really old.

Pullin' out a Farscape pic-nice.  But, do you think she would be getting bashed so much if she was actually putting up good finishes.  When you do as bad as she does and still has a ride-it makes you wonder.  Time to go back to dirt track racing?

Yep, I do think she would be getting bashed. Look at who is doing the bashing. It's easy for them because of the personal nature of the relationship between the owner and the driver.

I've seen posts where Shirley Muldowney was bashed in the same thread that trashed Erin Crocker. Tell me what the problem with that picture is

Yeah, I guess.  I bash drivers for stupidity on track or stupid comments off (along with occasional crude joke about a Roush or Hendrick driver). I could care less about their personal lives, but that's just me.

I saw this little interview with Rays wife .from a while back ....

A Team Effort Mary Evernham attends about a dozen events a year, usually when school is out. She and the couple’s 12-year-old son, Ray J, catch the majority of Cup races on TV from the family’s Cornelius, N.C., home. A longtime fan of motorsports, Mary met her husband while watching a neighbor race at a New Jersey racetrack in 1977. In those lean, pre-corporate sponsorship days, when Ray was a modified driver, he took any job necessary to raise race money. “He did whatever it took and never abandoned that goal,” recalls Mary. Regardless of the obstacles, “I knew he would be successful because he’s so self-driven,” she says. Mary pitched in, too. “In the early ’80s, sponsors had started to pay $1,000 or so for the driver to wear a patch,” she says. “I would unload my sewing machine from the truck and stitch patches onto the drivers’ uniforms as fast as I could. It was also my job to measure the heat in the tires when the car first came off the racetrack. That and making sandwiches.”

A divorce lawyers dream case , Ray just cut her a check for half of everything you have ,oh and there will be monthly payments for the kid and to keep Mary in the style she has become acustomed to . But you do get Erin Crocker for all those millions your giving up .....what a jamoke

Exactly!!!

I'm starting to wonder if Monkeybumper's mama pulled him off the tit too soon.

He's got this compulsive fixation on female drivers and that may be the cause.

Did you see her on pit road with Ray during Cup Qualifying, she cleans up real nice, I'll teach her to drive my stick anyday.

Oh yea shes a real beaut...... and she has that flat chested thing going for her too .

More then a mouth full is a waste, flat girls need lovin too,  and I take it you didn't see qualifying because she was in a nice sweater and had make-up looked pretty good too me.

Yeah, well she may be cute and all that, but driving a race car is what she was supposed to be doing.  Ah, but she's having too much fun holding onto old Ray's stick, shifter -HA!  My opinion is in my blog.  Naughty, naughty girl!

And I remember Shirley from when I was a young girl.  My dad was a drag racer.  She would drive the piss out of that dragster.  She earned her own right to drive.  She was destined for championships with or without Calletta (sp?).  And yes, Big Daddy was very much against women drivers.  I think he finally changed that attitude.

Truth of the matter if a male driver was performing on the race track like Erin has been - he would be out of the car or truck.  End of story.  I mean that is the way NASCAR operates today.

Ray sure hasn't paid a 100th the attention to his other development driver, Anthony Foyt, IV, who is where? Oh right he's out of a ride and has been for most of the season.  Guess Anthony wouldn't put out.

In the opinion of this female, it's bad for the sport and bad for other women racers

not true.

Kyle Petty, Ken Schrader, Kenny Wallace Jeff Green.

Who cares who Ray is hooked up with.
