Every since jlb got me off my butt I've been a stout supporter of sending e-mails to our politicians, good ones if I agree and getting on their case to the ones I'm against. I have really been on our Democrat Senator Sherrod Brown. Especially on his stand on energy and this bail out. I was not happy with what he said last week about how the Democrat party had the plan all worked out and McCain messed it up by showing up. I sent an e-mail that night along with ones to Pelosi and Dirty Harry.
Just got an e-mail back and he's changed his stance on the bailout. He stated they were wrong and we can't just hand a blank check to them along with other things. He stated we have to go forward slowly and carefully on this bill.. Wow, surprise. I'm not vain enough to think it was just my e-mail but lots of peoples. But it works.
There was a 40% NO vote by the Dems. today. They are hearing us. Yes, I know the market dropped big time. I'm down big time and I don't have years left. Am I worried, sure.
All right peeps, let your politicians know how you feel. It only takes 5 minutes. I'm sending one to Pelosi tonight calling for her resignation. Heck, if enough call for it, who knows.

There must be a lot of Americans sending e-mails. You can't down load in of the House websites. I googled Nancy Pelosi and was able to get her website and send her an e-mail. Americans are mad and they're letting the politicians know it.

When I lived in WV I e-mailed Robert Byrd twice a week or more, all I ever got from him was an automated reply. Finally I just started spamming him with every "e-mail your senator" problem I found.
