I only wish!!!! Hope those member who get the priviledge of attending have a great time.

P.S. Frizzy probably won't be going since Smoke's not racing this year.

No Chili Bowl for me this year...   I really wanted to go.... even though I prefer Smoke flavored Chili...

HOWEVER... I just (as in like ten minutes ago) got permission from work to have February 2-9 off......... which means....... ............  VOLUSIA BABY!!!

Well, I will just have to hunt him down for ya, Frizz...

He is going to be there, but is not racing this year, as of now.  Maybe we will all get a great surprise at the last minute.  It doesn't look like he has a driver for his #14 car yet.

I know someone that talked to Smoke a couple days ago and asked him if he was going to actually end up racing at the CB... Smoke just wnked at 'em... so cross your fingers Shell!!

Oooooooooooooo... and can you get a signed pic of Smokes a$$ for me this year like the one you got last year???

Long story short, I sprained the living snot out of my right ankle Saturday night at my family's Christmas get-together. I was walking out with 2 arm-loads of stuff and stepped wrong where the flagstone in the kitchen met the carpeting in the dining room and POW!!!! Stayed off of it all day Sunday, but back to work Monday and today. No biggie though; it's feeling a little better, swelling's going down and it's turning all sorts of pretty colors. 

If I can stay off it for the most part the next couple of days I'll probably survive. Thank goodness I have 5 days off from work.

Guess it's the boob tube and internet poker for me. Such a shame!!!

 I went to high school with a past champoing of the Chili Bowl....John Heydenreich....Always watch for him . Don't even know if he raced Silver Crown last year, or what he is up to.....Hope to catch it again on pay per veiw if they televise it again....

It is supposed to be televised on Speed with a one week delay according to a post on Hoseheads.

I will be there.  Leaving from NC early Wed. morning.  Always a great time
