Benny Parsons Diagnosed with Lung Cancer

Another one of our beloved ex-driver and current announcer has been diagnosed with lung cancer and will need all of your prayers and support to get him through this terrible time. I remember when Benny used to drive and he was usually a top notch driver with a top notch team and now with his announcing on TNT/CBS he has given us years of entertainment.  In the following link to an article about this, there is an email address to Benny at the end.  Why doesn't everybody send a note to show your support.

I'm sorry to hear it but your right, real. He has entertained us for year and to me he also has a unique way of sharing his lifes experience in the world of racing. I would think we could all take a few minutes to let Benny know we care!

RR very nice thread and i agree completely!

i enjoy watching Benny he knows what he is talking about but rarely talks about himself.  awsome guy!
