Well it's Saturday morning

7:30 in the morning and it's raining. The sky looks pretty bad. Want to leave the house about noon for the 90 mile drive to Eldora and I'm hauling my trailer. The All Stars raced in Pa. last night with no rain but doesn't look good for tonight. May just campout at the track and get drunk.
Just watched the weather report for our part of Ohio. 80 percent chance of rain tonight with temps. in the low 40s. Thunder storms this afternoon. Wind is blowing pretty hard right now. Darn.

Supposed to be nice the rest of the day here in southern OH. I'll probably just head to KC for their regular show. 410 sprints and Late Models.
Good luck though if you venture to Eldora.

Well, they cancelled tonight's racing at Eagle about 20 minutes ago. (insert mad & swearing smiley here). Guess it's another day of "honey-dos" for the PSG.

Do you get the feeling algore is behind this. He don't like dirt racing.

Well, you could be right. algore says we're going to have heat strokes so bushco could be saying let it rain and flood the midwest so us lunatics can't go racing.
I've decided not to chance going and have it rained out. It would have run me about $75.00 in gas money to haul the trailer and the weather is still lousey here. I'll probably regret it but don't want to take a chance. The wife was just diagnosed with cancer so looks like we're going to have to cut back and not take chances with what little money we have.
The USAC opener is rescheduled in two weeks so even if they don't have wings it's on dirt and it's racing so we'll take the granddaughter and go. If it doesn't rain.
