What a joke, I,ve got to fire up the smoker at 5.00am have 2 shoulders in at 6.00 and the ribs at noon. Oh well no racing for me tonight.

It was the same exact start as last year's Nationwide race. It's called Pacific time. It's probably hot as hell over there, so they start close to the evening over there so it'll be cooler for the drivers.
It actually makes sense believe it or not.

is that new?
I think if the NFL can play out there next week from 1.00 till 4.00pm they can race out there a little earlier so i don't have to stay up till 1.00am (if there are no red flags). Im cooking for 25 Sun.
Hey here,s a better idea, next year run the race in oct.

That's one thing I liked about living on the West coast. Sunday morning NFL breakfast. Get up at 9:00AM, cook breakfast and sit down to a 10:00Am start time with my coffee.
Going directly from work to a pub for Monday Night football and home by 10:00PM easily.
Cup races started before noon normally!
