A 14th 9 laps down (Salem) and a 21st, 10 laps down (Winchester), in two previous ARCA starts this year. Both on short tracks............... I didn't include him in my "drivers to watch".

EDIT: Cool, I didn't realize Kevin is only 17.

Kevin Swindell doesn't fit in with some of the other Evernham developmental drivers IMO.  He actually WINS races, which eliminates him right there.  Nuff said.

Good luck to the son of the man from Tennessee!  Let's hope that the team with the deep pockets puts a strong effort out for the DOG.  Good crew, decent car & motor... watch the young man shine.  Half "tailbone area" it and you'll get the same results as b4 with him.

The kid can flat out RACE, unlike some of the other Evernham hand-picked talent.  He's been fast and won in everything else he's ever driven... no reason to think it won't continue with fenders!

Josh Wise will also be in the race.  Give him a year or two and he will be running with the big dogs.

My question is what will Rocky do when he makes a mistake, loses his temper or composure, and gets his butt kicked by somebody cuz daddy isn't there to defend him, ala Husets about a year ago.  Stock car guys don't know who he or his old man are, and could likely care less if they did.

Always want to see sprint car guys do well in other series, but I have some real doubt as to this kid Swindell's ability.

And, we all know you are the world's authority on accurately assessing sprint car talent.Barf [:barf]

And we all know what you would do if you could just be alone with Sammy in a 'quiet' place for 10 minutes.Spank it [:spank]  Right Brad?

HOLY CRAP what is with you Swindell freaks???  Please show me a post where I said I was an EXPERT on assessing talent???  SHOW ME THE POST!!!  Sorry chump, THERE ISN'T ONE!

You just cannot handle someone bringing up one of the many Swindell gaffe's from recent history, can ya?  Pathetic little man you are Brad.  I only wish that Meyer had gotten out of his car that night and whipped em both in front of God and everybody.

I am betting the Swindell clan is proud to know they have several lunatic fringe freaks defending their honor on a message board.

You think Ref has been rough on you clowns, it just became open season as far as I am concerned.  Enjoy.

It will be interesting to see how the wee lad Swindell does tonight. Wise qualified in the top 10 and seems to have a pretty good grasp on everything he runs pavement and dirt. While Swindell does show flashes of brilliance he also at times shows a lot of inmaturity on the track that reflects in his finishes. Evernham does not have the best track record of evaluating talent, Jeremy, Erin, Foyt, Hopefully Kevin will be the one that Ray got right.

Kevin made you look like an idiot tonight - chump.  You and THE REF are cut from the same cloth - you talk so tough while crouching behind the comfort on your puter.

HA!
