Lol, Jr. What a move...this should bring out all those Gordon fans who had to take abuse when he dumped Kenseth at Chicago...let the games begin.

My guess...

Gordon was a scumbag for dumping kenseth and JR was a superstar...

Im sure many people will see this a "different"...

Looked to me as though Carl was already loose and had checked up when Junior, with nowhere to go, touched him just a tad.

Had Robbie not been there to add his push, Edwards might have been able to save it.

In anycase, this is yet another incident where Edwards hit a car under the Yellow flag and he's been warned about it previously.

Perhaps NASCAR should dust off that part of the rule book that they used when Harvick was suspended from a Cup race for something he did during a Busch race.

Carl needs a humbling experience.

Since it was an Earnhardt Nascar won't say a word so much for not tolerating this kind of BS anymore it's still who you are. Carl will probably get probation for his reaction really surprised that Robby Gordon didn't cause it seems to be what he normally does.

In the meantime, let's not forget the job Robbie Gordon did with the 88 car.

That was a superb performance!

Bravo!

I'm no expert, as I don't drive a racecar, so this is just my opinion. But, what else could Jr. have done without wrecking himself. Even if he backed out of the gas a little looks like he still would've hit him.

Edwards got loose off the turn...Jr. had a run...what do you want him to do,get outta the gas?If it would have been early in the race,he probably would have backed out of the gas.But thats the end of the race and it was "go time".Plus most of them are racing for the win,not points.Jr. did nothing wrong...just racin".

I believe he's already on probation for his actions a few weeks ago.

Set your sights a little higher.

Well, the Gordon fan doesn't think Jr. did anything wrong. Carl got loose, slowed up and got turned. What Carl did on the cool down lap by slamming Jr. with his arm hanging out should bring a big fine. That could have been horrible. Carl needs to watch the tape. Jr. getting booed was a rarity and unwarrented.

Oh my.

I didn't see this, but this isn't good at all. Of course, I fully expect NASCAR to dust something off. It won't be the Harvick precedent, though -- I fully expect them to dust off the "double secret probation" they put Tony Stewart on when he misbehaved while on probation. They'll possibly fine Carl and extend his probation until the day before Daytona qualifying or something meaningless like that.

You're absolutely correct.

Like Jimmy Spencer, I have a good memory.

Like, I remember a few years ago toward the end of a race at Atlanta when Junior slid up in front of Carl a little bit and Carl turned him.  Carl said at the time that he should not be expected to lift and give another car a break at that stage of the race and that he was going for the win.

Like I said....good memory.

Carl, it seems, doesn't have such an excellent memory.  It would appear that he's already forgotten any lesson he might have been taught in the Big White Trailer a few weeks ago after he dumped Tony Stewart on pit road under yellow.

Maybe (hopefully) NASCAR will remind him.

Ask Mark Martin what he would have done Jr's remark afterward about having his hand out the window when Edwards came back out of the pits was kind of pitiful. Considering he could have caused a much more serious injury with his actions at the end of the race there is no excuse for either one as you listen to the replay he made no attempt to avoid what happened. Kinda of a crap way to win but I guess some people take anyway they can get them.

carl got loose jr saw that and chose not to lift, life is about choices i guess, can't say he didn't do what any of the rest of em would have done...I don't have a dog in this fight, my guess is Edwards will get fined and Jr and Edwards will do a buddy buddy thing tomorow on the pre-race show so Jr. will regain a little lost PR.
