 Good move by Smoke. He's got the same personality as Zippy and is wicked smart like him too. This will makes things interesting. If he could win two races with Jimmie Johnson and one with Casey Mears, imagine what he can do with a guy like Stewart. 
No question Tony's the favorite going into the 500 in Feb.

Are you kidding me? No disrespect, but the current team is loitering around the bottom of the points while using Hendrick -built cars and motors. Let's let them make some baby steps first, like top 20's and top 10's and then gel as a team. before we even consider them competitive.

And if Grubb was as good as you think, don't you suspect that someone would have "stolen" him from Hendrick previously? Like the Haas group?

Stewart a favorite to win Daytona? Not in my opinion, but I'm willing to withhold passing any judgment on the NEW team until they perform on the track......

Why would he have wanted to go to Haas when at the time there was no one good worth working for there, driver wise? And he said he got many offers to go to other teams but I'm sure they weren't for top class drivers since all of them had very good crew chiefs already. But  now he gets to still work with HMS stuff AND gets a top driver on top of that.  I don't see any reason why Tony wont still be one of the favorites going into the Daytona 500. Make no mistake. SHR will be nothing like Hass CNC racing is now.

Tony Stewart is in equipment easily comparible to Jimmie Johnson and has been owned by him on the track once again today.  I don't see why you would act like he is gonna rule the world and is that much better than jimmie johnson.  Casey Mears yes.........Jimmie Johnson no........not in nascar.
