USF1 team will have experienced US F1 driver

One of the 'principals' for the team said on Speed Report last Sunday night that the two car team would have one American driver with F1 experience and a lot of open wheel experience and one American driver with great open wheel experience. Who are the Americans they could chose from for the "American with F1 experience" slot? Michael or Mario Andretti? Scott Speed? I watch F1 races but know little about it.

Do you have a link to this?
The last I read was that there was a strong possibility of Alex Wurz the Austrian getting a seat. There aren't many choices of US drivers with experience. Scott Speed is the only active US driver with experience.
