Lewis Hamilton

I'm excited about his debut. I saw him in a GP2 race last year. I think he a great up and coming driver and will be one reason I keep up with F-1 this year.

I am Ron! The kid is quick and fearless. Frankly, he reminds me of Senna. For someone so young to be so calculating, so fast and oblivious to his surroundings, is quite admirable. Prediction, THREE world championships AT LEAST for young Lewis. He'll go as fast as the car under him will let him. Also note that this is a kid who had very few DNF's in other formulae. He's fast but not reckless.
I think he might go places!

indeed, it was a great start to his career. it's hard not to get overly excited but one can't help it in this case. i'll make a statement at the half way mark....i think he'll be in the top 5 in the championship at that point. if he finished right behind alonso in the year end, that'll be a great result. i don't think you can expect him to place ahead of alonso and ferrari.

Darn right he will!
Lewis is going to be the next huge superstar in F1. He led Fernando for
most of the race, and it appears that McLaren is not using the #1-2
driver system, so he's going to get an equal chance with Fernando to
succeed. I predict a World Driver's Championship in the first 3 years
of his career.

the way he held of Massa at the begining of the GP was amazing. Also how he held off Kimi at the end. Hard to believe he is a rookie, he seemed to be close to the class of the field, maybe even neck and neck with Alonso after the first stop.

Three races into his young career, and would you believe it? Lewis is tied for the WDC lead!
The thing that's really impressive is how strongly he has run relative
to the rest of the field on the hard tyre compound in races. While the
grip in the soft compound makes the driver's job a lot easier, the hard
compound throws a monkeywrench into their hands, and Lewis is
impressing with the added difficulty. I think we have a very special
talent on our hands, ladies and gentleman.

And he's held off the top driver in THE top ride in F1 two weeks in a row for 2nd place. (Not saying RAI is the top driver in the world, but rather that he easily tops MAS at Ferrari, which he does)
There's a reason people are drooling over him. He is a special talent. Assuming that they remain on good terms, McLaren has the dominant pair of drivers for the next 5 years of F1 in their stable.

Five races into his career and he's been on the podium all five. This guy is the real deal. How many championships is he going to win. Did anyone watch Monaco this weekend? He was driftingthe car through the "swimming pool" section all day. This guy has amazing talent. Amazing.

I couldn't agree more, Lewis is absolutely the real deal. What impresses me is how intelligent and poised he is as a person, and how that aspect of his character trickles down to his considerable driving and racing skills. This is one very special young man and and if he continues on this arch he'll have Tiger Woods level impact on Formula 1 and beyond. Can't wait to see how he does at Indy, and I imagine he'll be responsible for a rise in ticket sales for the US Grand Prix, which is a good thing and hopefully will help us get the race back here next year.

Yes, History indeed. I didn't know Lewis Hamilton was an African American though. I thought he is from England, but since Pete Pistone said he was African American in his latest article, I guess he is. Learn something new everyday don't we.
