Smokes New Sprint Car Series

According to HH Smoke is starting a new Sprint Car Series to be running mainly in Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania on Hoosier Tires. Kinser and according to Lasoski several Woo boys are looking to get in it. Sure save a lot of travel expenses. Now we wait to see if this is all true. Apparently announced today on Bubba the Love Sponge radio show.

It's too bad all this has to start over TIRES. Well more Dirt Racing is always good.
Steve Kinser switching is surprising... not. THe good thing about him is he can try out every chance to leave the WoO and always come back with no questions asked.. because hes Steve Kinser.
Listening to that sound bit and reading the post on hh, I think its not going to be as big as many would like to see it. Touring 3-4 states will not bring the sponsership that WoO Caliber teams need to run, but also could open the door for new bodies in footsteps of those leaving.
I'm from NY and I've had to watch the split of DIRT motorsports, with all these unsanctioned tracks that used to all be one huge deal. Its taken away innitially, but over time its getting better, I hope a new sprint series will only make things better for what we all love overall Sprint Car Racing.

Jeezuz, we gotta go through THIS again!?! Another one of these splits will simply kill any momentum the sport has gained on a national level. You take these guys mentioned out of the WoO lineup and attendance will drop at nearly every stop.

And Jwack has posted a link where SK is quoted as saying that whatever Lasoski said on the radio is "not true".....so how much of this is smoke and mirrors?

SK will run wherever Quaker State wants him to and they feel that they'll gain the most bang for their buck
